Breathe

Taking two minutes to focus on your breath can relieve stress, increase focus, boost mood and significantly reduce procrastination. Follow these simple steps:

  • Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose.
  • Focus on the sensations of the breath in your nose and throat and the rise and fall of your chest and belly.
  • Slowly let the breath out through your mouth.
  • When a feeling or thought arises, let it go and bring your attention back to your breath.
  • Continue breathing this way for 5 to 10 breaths.
