Noting

Keep a pad and pen with you while you work or study. If a thought arises about something other than what you are doing, write it down on the notepad and then return to what you were doing. Solidifying the idea by writing it down on paper allows our brains to let go of the idea and stop distracting us with it.

At the end of the day, review your notes and deal with any items that need action.
